Post-Residency Programme
Hugh and Helen Sims-Williams will be sharing the good news of Jesus through medical work at Tenwek Hospital, Kenya, from September 2022. Hugh is a Neurosurgeon and will also be involved in training and discipling the neurosurgical residents in the Pan-African Academy of Christian Surgeons (PAACS) training programme. Helen will be working part-time as a kidney doctor, while also looking after their children Jesse and Grace.

The World Medical Mission Post-Residency Programme is a two-year programme for Christian physicians who have been called to medical mission. Following their residency, doctors are placed at a mission hospital to serve within their specialty alongside career medical missionaries. We provide logistical and financial support to these young men and women as they treat patients and share the love of Jesus Christ. Your gift will allow the physician/s to cover ministry-related expenses that are not included in the core funding (such as medical insurance, travel, and healthcare costs for family members) and to meet additional needs/projects that enhance the capability of the medical mission.
