Rawya feared that she and her unborn child were both going to die. Every hospital near her village in Sudan had been destroyed by civil war. She walked for hours before finally reaching the Samaritan’s Purse Emergency Field Hospital that was providing obstetric care to women from displacement camps. Our team helped Rawya deliver a healthy baby boy via emergency caesarean section. “I thank God I reached this hospital. I am very grateful,” she said.
