Tselmeg longed to run and play with other little girls and boys in her rural village in Mongolia—but her health wouldn’t let her. She had a hole in her heart that required specialised medical care. Samaritan’s Purse arranges life-saving operations for girls and boys like Tselmeg through our Children’s Heart Project. We brought the child, her mother, Khishgee, and an interpreter to South Korea, where she had heart surgery at one of our partner hospitals. We also connected them with a Christian host family who helped transport them to doctors’ appointments and cared for them during Tselmeg’s postoperative recovery at home. We praise God that through the Gospel witness of the host family and local church, Khishgee came to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
