Care for Mothers and Babies

MANY MOTHERS-TO-BE who visit our health centre in Colombia are suffering from malnutrition. A majority of them are Venezuelans who have fled their homeland. Jennifer is a patient who came to us with indicators of a high-risk pregnancy. We gave her nutritional supplements and did ultrasounds to monitor her child’s development inside the womb. We have provided similar life-saving assistance in Cambodia, Vietnam, Kenya, Liberia, Niger, South Africa, and Sudan. Your gift will help us offer quality obstetric care, build birthing centres, and educate women on proper nutrition—all to promote healthy mothers and children who can rest secure as they place their trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. “Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yes, our God is merciful” (Psalm 116:5).
